Craftmaster Restorations is lead by Jamie Allen, who has over 15 years experience in steam and vintage engineering. A veteran of many of his own restoration projects he has never been shy to assist others and learn new skills. Since joining the Craftmaster family several years ago Jamie has helped us complete some stunning restorations, and we are delighted to partner with him in this new restoration business venture. We are fully insured for all work undertaken and are able in certain circumstances to undertake some works on your premises for added convenience.
Craftmaster Restorations aims to offer first class service, and execllent communication with all our customers coupled with honest and frank assessments of all projects presented to us to potentially undertake. As enthusiasts ourselves we know that historic equipment overhauls are rarely straightforward and we look to share that experience to give realistic outlooks on costs and timescales.
Over the years we’ve worked with many first class sub contractors, many of whom were hard to find but are all necessary for specific jobs that we are unable to undertake, the ability to utilise those skilled trades as part of larger projects is at the heart of what we aim to do. Heritage Skills need to thrive to survive and are pleased to do our bit to keep them alive.
We are happy to undertake pretty much any project you can imagine, so feel free to enquire. Working to specific requirements, or accepted museum standards, we will tailor our quotes and our works to suit your needs.
